Next to the bank is what used to be a general store – Maguire’s General Store & Post Office. One of two stores in town, this building housed a bank, the town’s post office, in addition to the goods which included hardware and groceries. The 2nd floor housed a dance floor.
This building is not “IN” anymore! But, maybe if you stop by to see the door that still says “IN” that would be great! Then, grab a bite to eat across the street before leaving town.
